TERMS OF USE – EKI CO-NET

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Eki Co-Net, a digital connectivity platform operated by Eki Global Holdings Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Eki Co-Net website, NFC digital cards, smart wristbands, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About Eki Co-Net

Eki Co-Net enables users to create digital profiles and share contact information through NFC, QR codes, and online links.

Eki Co-Net is a platform operated by Eki Global Holdings Ltd.
Eki Co-Net is not a standalone legal entity in Rwanda.

2. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, and
  • Provide accurate and lawful information

to use Eki Co-Net.

3. User Accounts & Profiles

  • You are responsible for all activity on your account
  • Information you choose to display on your profile may be publicly accessible when shared
  • You agree not to create false, misleading, or impersonation profiles

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Eki Co-Net to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
  • Harass, impersonate, or mislead others
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the platform
  • Misuse NFC cards or QR codes

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you add to your profile.

By using Eki Co-Net, you grant us a limited right to host, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform content, software, branding, and design elements are owned by or licensed to Eki Global Holdings Ltd.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without prior written permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Eki Co-Net available at all times, but:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Temporary downtime may occur for maintenance or technical reasons

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Eki Co-Net is provided “as is”
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for how third parties use information you choose to share

9. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • Required by law or regulation
  • The platform is misused

You may stop using Eki Co-Net at any time.

10. Privacy

Your use of Eki Co-Net is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.

Where applicable, mandatory consumer or data protection laws in your country of residence (including Nigeria) remain unaffected.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on the website.

Continued use of the platform means acceptance of the updated Terms.
